The Catalina Highway provides the only paved access to attractions on Mount Lemmon and the Santa Catalina Mountains, and has become a popular destination for tourism in the region. According to the Federal Highway Administration, the Catalina Highway is traveled over by more than one million visitors every year. Among the many recreational opportunities in the Coronado National Forest, through which the highway travels, are numerous campgrounds and picnic sites, multi-use trails, and scenic views. Wir sind die wunderschöne und gut ausgebaute Passstrasse Ende April 2017 bis zum Top of the Hill, Mt. Lemmon mit dem WoMo gefahren.
Sehr schöne und abwechslungsreiche Strecke mit herrlichen Ausblicken. Es gibt auch mehrere Natur-CG, meist im Wald gelegen. Der Molino Canyon CG im Anstieg hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Byway gut auch mit großen Mobilen machbar.
Die reine Bergstrecke beträgt 25 Meilen.
